Yomi Kastro is the Founder & CEO of Inveon and Inventures. He programmed his first software at the age of 11 and has dedicated himself to information technologies and Internet ventures ever since. In 2006, he founded Inveon to develop e-commerce software solutions and infrastructures for enterprises. Inveon ranks in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 list for 5 consecutive years between 2017 & 2021 as one of Turkey's fastest-growing technology companies.
Kastro also founded Inventures, an early-stage accelerator that invests in promising Internet ventures in 2009. He is an investor and/or board member of more than 20 successful Internet ventures including Supplementler.com, Trendyol, Ideasoft, Blesh, Metamorfoz, Scorp, Tazemasa, myGini and Bulucak.com.
He was regarded as the “Most Successful Young Entrepreneur of the Year” by JCI in 2009. During his PhD, Kastro’s articles on Internet technologies, machine learning and software engineering were published in numerous academic journals. Completing his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Engineering at Bogazici University, Kastro was recognized with a high honors degree. He then advanced his academic career by completing Harvard Business School’s Private Equity and Venture Capital Program.
Yomi Kastro is the Founding Board Member of the Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation. He is also the Board Member of the TUBISAD Informatics Industry Association.
